The Senior team exited senior championship at the quarter final stage after
losing to Easkey in Tubbercurry on Sunday. Our lads gave it everything but
it wasn’t to be Calrys day. The team who were dogged with injuries put in a
good display in the first half against the wind with Benny O’Reilly get
four points and Alan Maguire getting the other before the break. At half
time we were down by a single point on a scoreline of Calry/St.Josephs 0-5
Easkey 0-6. Both teams were evenly matched in the second half. Dessie
Sloyne was having no trouble putting over the frees for Easkey but a great
point from Brian O’Reilly lifted the Carly team again. Two more points from
his brother Benny kept Calry within a point of Easkey going into the final
stages of the match but Easkey got a good point late on to insure the
victory. Final Score Calry/St.Josephs 0-9 Easkey 0-11 Team on duty:
D.McGuinn, T.Scanlon, A.Devaney, F.Coyne, Ciaran Coyne, B.Hynes, D.Gannon,

The Senior team lost to Shamrock Gaels in Coola on Saturday evening last. Calry never seemed to really get going and found ourselves down by 3 points at half time. Calry had some better patches in the second half but Shamrock Gaels battled hard and went on to win on a scoreline of Calry/St.Josephs 0-9 Shamrock Gaels 0-13.

Team on Duty:- D.McGuinn, D.Gannon, A.Devaney, Ciaran Coyne, L.McGuinn, B.Hynes, E.Kelly, V.Nally, D.O'Boyle, A.Maguire, D.Mullin, P.Kelly, Benny O'Reilly, A.O'Hara, Brian O'Reilly Subs used Cormac Coyne, C.Griffin

The intermediate team played against Ballisodare at home on Sunday afternoon but were beaten by a determined & physical Ballisodare side. Yet again there was a strong panel of 20 players who turned out on the day. The teams were level at the break but we failed to take advantage after having a lot of possession in the second half and put the scores over the bar. Ballisodare made the most of their chances and ran out winners on the day. The team on duty was as follows: Gerry Higgins, Fintan Keown, Joey Scanlon, Conor Feehily, Cormac Coyne, Brian Hynes, Ciaran Coyne, Damien Flynn, Damien O Boyle, Rory Leahy, M ark Fowley, Tony O Reilly, Brian O Reilly, Declan Mc Guinn, Barry O Boyle. Subs Used: Barry Dolan, John Griffin, Dave O Hara, and Ciaran MaGuire.

Many Thanks to all the supporters on the day and those who helped out with match duties. The club would like to wish a speedy recovery from injury to Conor Nally, Damien Flynn, Shane Martyn, and Shane Gilroy. There is no game next weekend due to Sligo's Quarter final meeting with Cork. The Intermediate team battled hard for a draw away to St Marys on Saturday
evening. Team on duty: Stephen Heraghty, Shane Martyn, Conor Feehily, Joey
Scanlon, Ciaran Coyne, Damien Gannon, Cormac Coyne, Eamon Kelly, Damien
Flynn, Mark Fowley, Tony O Reilly, Aidan Flynn, Conor Nally, Conor Griffin,

The game got off to a quick start for our team with a good point from Conor
Nally. Damien Flynn found Mark Fowley with an accurate pass who made no
mistake making the net bulge from close range. Both teams played well in
patches with some fine points from Conor Griffin, Brian O Reilly, and the
energetic Cormac Coyne. Just before half time Aidan Flynn hit a clever ball
into Tony O Reilly who turned quickly and blasted the net for a second
goal. St Marys started well in the second half and got back into contention
with a goal. Tony O Reilly did well to hold off defenders to win a penalty
and Aidan Flynn made no mistake sending the goalkeeper the wrong way. St
Marys got some scores towards the end despite excellent defending from Joey
Scanlon, Conor Feehily and Shane Martyn. There were some unbelievable saves
from the ever reliable netminder Stephen Heraghty keeping out several goal
chances. In the end a draw was a fair result There were some great
performances from Aidan Flynn, Eamonn Kelly, Damien Flynn and Cormac Coyne
with Tony O Reilly a deserved man of the match.

Our under 14 team played in Group A of Division 1 in the Feile competition
